3D rendering – Architectural Illustration
-
Photorealistic model – shows building as close as possible to its future look. Shapes, textures, lights and shadows are rendered, eventually (optional) over-imposed on site photos for a feeling as close to the real one as possible.
-
Computer “sketchy” look – solution trying to prevent rigid look of some 3d rendering programs, giving a warmer human look to a cold computer model. Sketchup is a powerful tool, (better received by clients!), gives them an impression rather than a finished “as bought item”, vs 3DS Max or Lightscape, where realistic models that never quite seem believable.
-
Massing Studies – actual aerial photos with building envelope blocked in 3D, to see how building fits the environment, or to see if how the zoning affects the overall building area. Site can be put into a 3D environment and can be navigated trough (standalone application) or can be delivered as simple TIFF or JPG files.
